Petitioners, Ana P., Arthur A. and William G., Sr., seek extraordinary writ review of a juvenile court order terminating their reunification services and setting the matter for a permanency planning hearing. (Welf. & Inst. Code, § 366.26, subd. (l);[1] Cal. Rules of Court, rule 38.1.) We deny the petitions.


I. PROCEDURAL HISTORY AND STATEMENT OF FACTS


Petitioner Ana P. is the mother of Lauren (born Nov. 1996) and William G., Jr., (born Jun. 2002 (William)). William G., Sr., is William's father and Arthur A. is Lauren's father.


In February 2002, a family law court granted Arthur A. primary physical custody of Lauren and barred William G., Sr., from having any contact with the child. Ana P. was directed to attend domestic violence counseling and to ensure that Lauren was not exposed to incidents of domestic violence.


Dependency Petition (Lauren). On April 21, 2004, the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) filed a dependency petition alleging that on numerous occasions over a period of eight months Arthur A. had sexually abused seven-year-old Lauren by forcing the child to place her hand on Arthur A.'s penis and repeatedly fondling the child's genitals.


Detention Hearing (April 21, 2004 Petition [Lauren]). Ana P. and Arthur A. appeared at a detention hearing held on April 21, 2004. DCFS reported that Lauren had been placed in Ana P.'s home. Lauren, described by the social worker as â€
