Petitioner Cassie B. (mother) is the mother of four children, Justin J., Shane B., Angel B. and J. B. At the time the children were detained, their ages were, respectively, four years, two years, one year, and 10 months. Mother asks this court to order the juvenile court to: 1) grant her six months of reunification services; and 2) reverse its order setting a selection and implementation hearing under Welfare and Institutions Code, section 366.26.[1] For the reasons discussed below, we deny the petition.


STATEMENT OF FACTS[2] AND PROCEDURE


On June 22, 2005, at about 10:12 a.m., a grocery store employee was helping a customer put groceries inside a vehicle when they heard a baby crying from inside a car parked nearby. They found J. B. alone in a car seat in the back seat of a car. The front windows were rolled down and the outside temperature was approximately 111 degrees. Another employee came outside, removed J. from the vehicle and brought her inside to the store manager's office in an attempt to cool her down. At that time, mother and her own mother (grandmother) were in the checkout line with Shane and Angel in the cart. After an employee walked past them holding J., mother went out to the car and saw that J. was not in the back seat. Mother returned to the store and whispered to grandmother, â€
