IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT
DIVISION THREE
In re ASHLEY H. and ALEXIS H., Persons Coming Under the Juvenile Court Law. | B189616 (Los Angeles County Super. Ct. No. CK39973) |
LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES, Plaintiff and Respondent, v. REYNA F., Defendant and Appellant. |
APPEAL from an order of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, S. Patricia Spear, Judge. Dismissed.
Andre F. F. Toscano, under appointment by the Court of Appeal, for Defendant and Appellant.
No appearance for Plaintiff and Respondent.
Mother filed a notice of appeal from an order dated January 25, 2006, terminating parental rights with regard to Ashley H. and Alexis H.
This court appointed counsel to represent Mother on appeal. Counsel for Mother has notified this court in writing pursuant to In re Sade C. (1996) 13 Cal.4th 952 that after examining the record, counsel was unable to file an opening brief.
On April 21, 2006, this court advised Mother through her counsel that she must submit to this court by brief or letter within 30 days any grounds of appeal, contentions, or arguments that she wishes this court to consider. Mother has failed to do so. Mother therefore abandons her appeal, and the appeal is dismissed. (In re Sade C., supra, 13 Cal.4th at p. 994.)
DISPOSITION
The appeal is dismissed.
