Defendant, a minor, appeals from an order continuing him as a ward of the court after the juvenile court sustained a petition alleging that defendant had committed second degree robbery (Pen. Code, § 211[1]) and felony false imprisonment (§ 236). We affirm.


Evidence


On the night of June 11, 2005, J.M. and K.C. gave an acquaintance, L.S., a ride to a party in Vallejo. It is undisputed that there was a large group of young people out on the street at the party's location. It is undisputed that J.M.'s car was surrounded by the group and that members of the group jumped on the car. It also is undisputed that J.M. and K.C. were threatened with a gun, physically attacked and beaten and that their property was taken. J.M. was hit in the face numerous times while he was in the driver's seat. Someone took the keys to the car. J.M. and K.C. were able to escape only after J.M. was able to retrieve the keys and start the car and K.C., who had been pulled from the car, managed to get back in through a window. It also was uncontested that defendant was present. J.M. and K.C. testified that defendant came up to them after they drove up. The passenger, L.S., hailed him as â€
