INTRODUCTION
Blanca M. appeals from the orders of the juvenile court that denied her petition for modification and that terminated her parental rights to her son Nicholas M. (Welf. & Inst. Code, §§ 388 & 366.26).[1] She contends that the latter ruling was error with the result that the termination order must be reversed. We affirm the orders.
FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND
1. Facts leading to Nicholas' dependency.[2]
In February 2004, the Department of Children and Family Services (the Department) responded to a report of physical abuse of one-year‑old Nicholas. He had numerous fractures to his legs, none of which were accidental. The doctors also reported that he suffered from a swelling of the testicle from unknown origin. There were also indications of possible developmental delay in speech and mobility. Blanca claimed not to know how the leg and testicle injuries had occurred. As caretakers who had access to Nicholas, Blanca listed herself, her live-in boyfriend Carlos G., a godmother, and a babysitter who had four teenagers in her home.
