Plaintiff Hee P. Kim appealed from judgments of dismissal entered in favor of defendants Dong Ok Shin, Sun Hee Kim and City National Bank. Dong Ok Shin and Sun Hee Kim obtained a dismissal based on lack of personal jurisdiction following the granting of their motion to quash service of summons. City National Bank's dismissal followed the sustaining of its demurrer without leave to amend.


Prior to oral argument in the case, plaintiff notified us that the parties were pursuing settlement. We continued oral argument several times while they worked out a settlement. Eventually, plaintiff notified us that they had settled the case, and on August 8, 2006, plaintiff filed a request for dismissal of the appeal. In accordance with this request, we will dismiss the appeal.


The appeal is dismissed.
