INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff and appellant Shams Q. Najm applied for a job with defendant and respondent the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles (the County). The County rejected Najm's application. Claiming that his application was rejected because of his race and age, Najm sued the County for race and age discrimination. The trial court granted summary judgment in the County's favor, and thereafter awarded the County attorney fees and costs. Najm appeals the judgment. We affirm the judgment, except we dismiss the purported appeal of the order granting the County attorney fees and costs.
