IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT

DIVISION SIX

THE PEOPLE,

Plaintiff and Respondent,

v.

THOMAS ST. ANDREW,

Defendant and Appellant.

2d Crim. No. B186749

(Super. Ct. No. MA-032308)

(Los Angeles County)

Thomas St. Andrew appeals the judgment following his no contest plea to one count of receiving stolen property (Pen. Code, § 496, subd. (a)) and admission of a prior serious felony conviction (id., § 667, subds. (b)-(i), 1170.12, subd. (c)(1)). In exchange for this plea, he was sentenced to 32 months in state prison. St. Andrew's subsequent oral motion to withdraw his no contest plea was denied by the court. He obtained a certificate of probable cause (id., § 1237.5), challenging the court's denial of his motion to withdraw his no contest plea.

We appointed counsel to represent St. Andrew in this appeal. After reviewing the record, counsel filed an opening brief raising no issues and requesting that this court independently examine the record pursuant to People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.

On April 20, 2006, we advised St. Andrew that he had 30 days in which to submit a written brief or letter stating any contentions or arguments he wished us to consider. St. Andrew did not respond.

We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that St. Andrew's attorney has fully complied with her responsibilities and that no arguable issues exist. (People v. Wende, supra, 25 Cal.3d at p. 441.)

The judgment is affirmed.

NOT TO BE PUBLISHED.
