            A jury convicted appellant Richard Hurtado of child endangerment (Pen. Code,


§ 273a, subd. (a); count 1), spousal abuse (Pen. Code, § 273.5, subd. (a)) and making a criminal threat (Pen. Code, § 422).  In a separate proceeding, the court found true allegations appellant had suffered one prior serious felony conviction within the meaning of Penal Code section 667, subdivision (a) and two â€
