Stevie Jackson appeals an order revoking his probation and the suspension of a five-year prison term. We vacate the order revoking probation and imposing incarceration, and remand for further proceedings before the original sentencing judge.


FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND


A complaint filed in September 2001 alleged defendant committed four property offenses on the same day.[1] In December 2001, defendant entered an open plea to all four counts before Judge Ming-Mei Lee, who said a five-year term in state prison, with execution suspended, was the likely sentence.[2] Judge Lee noted she would be sitting in a different department at the time for sentencing, but stated: â€
