IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT

DIVISION SIX

THE PEOPLE,

Plaintiff and Respondent,

v.

BRET LAWRENCE KINGSBURY,

Defendant and Appellant.

2d Crim. No. B183808

(Super. Ct. No. 2005000525)

(Ventura County)

Bret Lawrence Kingsbury appeals a judgment following his guilty plea to possession of a deadly weapon, with an admission that he served three prior prison terms. (Pen. Code, §§ 12020, subd. (a)(1) & 667.5, subd. (b).) The trial court sentenced Kingsbury to a prison term of two years, and ordered that the sentence be concurrent to a four-year and three-month sentence imposed in Case No. 2002028011.

We appointed counsel to represent Kingsbury in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, she filed an opening brief raising no issues.

On February 15, 2006, we advised Kingsbury that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished to raise on appeal. We have not received a response.

We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that Kingsbury's attorney has fully complied with her responsibilities and that no arguable issue exists. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)

The judgment is affirmed.

NOT TO BE PUBLISHED.
