Defendant Steven L. Lopez appeals from a judgment following a plea of no contest to one count of stalking. The trial court suspended imposition of sentence and placed Lopez on formal probation for 36 months. Defendant's counsel has raised no issue on appeal and asks this court for an independent review of the record to determine whether there are any arguable issues. (Anders v. California (1967) 386 U.S. 738; People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.) We find no issues and affirm.
Background
According to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department report, Lopez and the victim, his ex-wife, were engaged in an ongoing dispute over child support payments. The night of August 31, 2005, Lopez called the victim's home and spoke to one of their sons, who reported that Lopez â€
