A jury found defendant guilty of stalking (Pen. Code, § 646.9, subd. (a)), dissuading a witness (Pen. Code, § 136.1, subd. (b)(1)), violating a protective order (Pen. Code, § 273.6, subd. (a)), petty theft (Pen. Code, §§ 484, 488), and simple battery (Pen. Code, § 242). It acquitted him on charges of assault with force likely to cause serious bodily injury (Pen. Code, § 245, subd. (a)(1)) and spousal battery (Pen. Code, § 243, subd. (e)(1)). The trial court sentenced defendant to a total of two years in prison.
