After a motion to suppress was denied, defendant pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine base in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11350, subdivision (a) and to possession of a dirk or dagger in violation of Penal Code section 12020. Pursuant to a plea bargain, the court placed defendant on probation for two years, ordered him to serve 90 days in the county jail, credited him with 15 days for time served and imposed appropriate fees and fines. Defendant's counsel has filed an opening brief that raises no issues and asks this court for an independent review as required by People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436. We have carefully reviewed the record on appeal and find there are no meritorious issues to be argued or briefed.
Discussion
An Antioch police officer saw defendant riding a bicycle on the sidewalk at 6:14 a.m. on July 4, 2005.
