Ricky Leon Williams appeals from a judgment entered after he pleaded no contest to manufacturing cocaine base. (Health & Saf. Code, § 11379.6.) He contends the trial court erred when it denied his motion to suppress. We disagree and will affirm.
I. FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND
On January 9, 2004, near 6:45 p.m., Detective Mario Chesney and several other officers from the Richmond Police Department went to an apartment complex located on South 37th Street to execute a search warrant.
