On August 28, 1995, Deputy Public Defender Isaacson asked for
the addresses of all witnesses, including penalty phase witnesses in Oregon. These addresses had been redacted from the
police reports given to the defense. The
prosecutor responded that the civilian witnesses were reluctant to be contacted
