A jury convicted Adrian Cuevas Corona of second degree murder. (Pen. Code, § 187, subd. (a).) He was sentenced to 15 years to life and appeals, claiming insufficiency of the evidence. We reject his contention and affirm.


Facts


On July 13, 2003, Corona borrowed his girlfriend's car, promising to return it at 5:00 a.m. the next morning. Around 2:00 a.m. on July 14, Corona and three or four bald-headed Hispanic companions were cruising the parking lot of a nightclub. The victim knocked out one of several Hispanic males in a burgundy Honda during a confrontation started by the males, and the Honda had taken off. Two minutes later, Corona and his companions drove by a group of people that included the victim.
