A criminal law decision regarding first degree burglary with the finding within the meaning of Penal Code section 667.5, subdivision (c) that another person, other than an accomplice, was present in the residence during the commission of the offense. Appellant admitted that he suffered a prior conviction for a serious or violent felony within the meaning of Penal Code.

Appellants appeal their convictions of first degree murder and attempted murder. They challenge the sufficiency of the evidence of a gang enhancement and argue their lengthy prison sentences are unconstitutional. Appellants argues that there was insufficient evidence to corroborate an accomplice's testimony. Court finds no error and affirm the judgments.

Plaintiff appeals from summary judgment in favor of defendants. The summary judgment was granted after the court found no merit in plaintiff's causes of action for breach of contract and invasion of privacy. Earlier, the court had dismissed several other defendants, including Attorney James M. Cowley and his law firm and partner and had also dismissed plaintiff's causes of action for fraud and conversion.Court conclude that summary adjudication of the remaining causes of action and hence summary judgment, were proper.

A minor, committed first degree residential robbery in concert and first degree residential burglary. The court ordered him placed in camp. minor violated probation while at camp and the court revoked his probation and entered an order of wardship. The court also ordered minor committed to the California Youth Authority for a maximum term of physical confinement of 10 years 4 months. Minor appeals from the order of wardship.

Plaintiff and appellant appeals an order of dismissal following the grant of summary judgment in favor of defendants and respondents. The essential issue presented is whether defendants, who hired an independent contractor to perform plumbing work above a suspended ceiling, may be held liable to responent, the contractor's employee, who was injured as a result of a hazardous condition on defendants' premises.
