IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT

DIVISION SIX

THE PEOPLE,

Plaintiff and Respondent,

v.

FREDDIE JAY TAYLOR,

Defendant and Appellant.

2d Crim. No. B185967

(Super. Ct. No. 2005017342)

(Ventura County)

Freddie Jay Taylor was convicted of a single count of disobeying a court order following a bench trial at which he represented himself. (Pen. Code, § 166, subd. (a)(4).) He appeals from the judgment sentencing him to 20 days in county jail.

We appointed counsel to represent Taylor in this appeal. After reviewing the record, counsel filed an opening brief raising no issues and requesting this court to independently review the record pursuant to People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436. We advised Taylor that he had 30 days in which to submit a written brief or letter stating any contentions or arguments he wished us to consider. No letter or brief has been filed.

We have examined the record and are satisfied that Taylor's appointed appellate counsel has fully complied with his responsibilities and that no arguable issues exist. (People v. Wende, supra, 25 Cal.3d at p. 441.)

The judgment is affirmed.

NOT TO BE PUBLISHED.
