IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT
DIVISION SIX
THE PEOPLE, Plaintiff and Respondent, v. SAUNRAY JAMAR WINCHESTER, Defendant and Appellant. | 2d Crim. No. B187343 (Super. Ct. No. 2005014662) (Ventura County)
|
Saunray Jamar Winchester appeals a judgment following his guilty plea to possession of a deadly weapon, and misdemeanor escape, with an admission of a prior serious felony conviction (Case No. 2004001002). (Pen. Code, §§ 12020, subd. (a)(1), 836.6, subd. (b), 667, subds. (b)-(i), & 1170.12, subds. (a)-(d).) The trial court struck the prior serious felony conviction, and sentenced Winchester to a prison term of two years. After revoking Winchester's probation in Case No. 2004001002, the trial court sentenced him to two years imprisonment, to be served concurrently.
We appointed counsel to represent Winchester in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, he filed an opening brief raising no issues.
On April 13, 2006, we advised Winchester that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished to raise on appeal. We have not received a response.
We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that Winchester's attorney has fully complied with his responsibilities and that no arguable issue exists. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)
The judgment is affirmed.
