Bernard Hennessee appeals from the judgment entered following a jury trial that resulted in his conviction of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (Pen. Code, § 12021, subd. (a)(1)) and his admission of three prior felony convictions within the meaning of the three strikes law (Pen. Code, §§ 667, subds. (b)-(i), 1170.12, subds. (a)-(d)). His motion pursuant to People v. Superior Court (Romero) (1996) 13 Cal.4th 497 was denied, and he was sentenced to prison for 25 years to life. We appointed counsel to represent him on this appeal.
