IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT

DIVISION SIX

THE PEOPLE,

Plaintiff and Respondent,

v.

ORENTHAL JAMES LAW,

Defendant and Appellant.

2d Crim. No. B188822

(Super. Ct. No. 2004050249)

(Ventura County)

Orenthal James Law appeals a judgment following his guilty plea to three counts of identity theft and one count of grand theft, with an admission that he served three prior prison terms. (Pen. Code, §§ 530.5, subd. (a), 487, subd. (a), & 667.5, subd. (b).) The trial court sentenced Law to a prison term of four years and four months.

We appointed counsel to represent Law in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, he filed an opening brief raising no issues.

On May 26, 2006, we advised Law that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished to raise on appeal. We have received a response contending that the trial court erred by refusing to allow him to withdraw his guilty plea. Law asserts that his plea agreement provided for a four-year and four-month sentence to run concurrently to his sentence imposed in Los Angeles County.

We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that Law's attorney has fully complied with his responsibilities and that no arguable issue exists. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)

The judgment is affirmed.

NOT TO BE PUBLISHED.

Bruce A. Clark, Judge
