I. Introduction
An information charged defendant Anthony Mendoza Perez with committing a robbery (Pen. Code, § 211)[1] on January 4, 1999. Defendant pleaded guilty to the charge on January 13, 1999. The trial court suspended imposition of sentence and placed defendant on probation. Defendant violated probation several times and on November 2, 2001, the trial court imposed a sentence of five years but suspended execution of the sentence and reinstated probation.
