FIRST APPELLATE DISTRICT

DIVISION FOUR

THE PEOPLE,

Plaintiff and Respondent,

v.

JAMES McCLURE,

Defendant and Appellant.

A114075

(San Francisco County

Super. Ct. No. 192960)

Pursuant to a negotiated disposition, appellant James McClure entered a plea of guilty to forcible rape. (Pen. Code, § 261, subd. (a)(2).) Consistent with the negotiated disposition, he was sentenced to the midterm of six years in state prison and other counts were dismissed.

Counsel for appellant has filed an opening brief raising no issues and asking this court for an independent review of the record pursuant to People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436. We have conducted the requested review and conclude that there are no arguable issues. Appellant was represented throughout the proceedings by counsel. His guilty plea was validly entered. He was sentenced to the agreed-upon term in state prison.

Judgment affirmed.
