            Silas Telfor(plaintiff) appeals from two orders granting motions to quash service of summons onMercy Services Corporation and Francis of Assisi Community, a wholly ownedsubsidiary of Mercy Corporation that owned and managed property providinghousing to low-income tenants.

            We shall affirm theorders.

Facts

            On August 14, 2002, plaintiff filed a complaint naming Mercy Corporation, its wholly owned subsidiary, Francisof Assisi Community, and six individuals, Lee Greever, Pat Sepulveda, HarrietHamby, Lawrence Hill, Candace Parsily and Craig Cole, as defendants.  Thecomplaint alleged 15 causes of action for, among other things, discriminationbased upon race anddisability, wrongful eviction, and unfair business practices.  

            Over the course of thenext three years, plaintiff eventually successfully served individualdefendants Hamby, Hill, and Greever with the summons and complaint,[1]but the court granted three motions to quash ser  vice of the summons andcomplaint upon defendants Mercy Services Corporation and Francis of AssisiCommunity.  During this same period, some of the individual defendants demurredto the complaint, and the court sustained several demurrers with leave toamend.  On June 27, 2005, plaintiff filed a â€
