Plaintiff William Crowley appeals from a judgment entered on a grant of summary judgment in favor of defendant Ronald Pawelczyk. We affirm.


BACKGROUND


This is a personal injury action concerning an automobile accident that occurred on July 23, 2001. Crowley filed the complaint on July 25, 2002, two days after the statute of limitations had run. On August 21, 2002, the Honorable James McBride granted his ex parte motion to deem the complaint filed on July 23, 2002. The order states: â€
