P. v. Simmons
Defendant and appellant Samuel Alonzo Simmons appeals after he was convicted in a jury trial of burglary, grand theft, and using a counterfeit access card. He contends his conviction of grand theft must be reduced to misdemeanor petty theft because of an error in the verdict form. He also points out that the court erred in pronouncing his sentence. Court affirm the judgment and order the record corrected to reflect a lawful sentence.
