P. v. Windom
Defendant Tamesha Windom appeals from the judgment entered after she was convicted by a jury of second degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon (a car) and commercial burglary. On appeal, defendant contends the evidence is insufficient to support the assault with a deadly weapon conviction and the trial court erred in failing to stay sentences on the assault with a deadly weapon and burglary convictions under Penal Code section 654. Court conclude the evidence is sufficient to support the assault with a deadly weapon conviction, but agree the sentence imposed violated the proscriptions against multiple punishment.
