P. v. Williams
Defendant appeals his conviction of four counts of attempted willful, deliberate and premeditated first degree murder (Pen. Code, 187, 664) and one count of firing into an occupied vehicle (Pen. Code, 246), with true findings on the attempted first degree murder counts that he personally used a firearm (Pen. Code, 12022.53, subds. (b)-(d)) and on all counts that the offenses were committed for the benefit of a criminal street gang (Pen. Code, 186.22, subd. (b)(1)). He contends insufficient evidence supports his conviction; the court erred in admitting prejudicial gang photographs; defense counsel was ineffective for failing to object to suggestive identification procedures; the court erred in the giving of accomplice instructions; and cumulative error mandates reversal. Court modify the judgment to correct an illegal sentence and otherwise affirm.
