P. v. Urzua
Defendant Jose Joab Urzua, represented by counsel, pled guilty to one count of robbery (Pen. Code, 211)[1](count 1) with the personal use of a firearm ( 12022.53, subd. (b), 1192.7, subd. (c)(8)); one count of unlawfully transferring an access card ( 484e, subd. (a)) (count 2); one count of receiving stolen property ( 496, subd. (a)) (count 3); one count of obliterating the serial number on a firearm ( 12090) (count 4); and two counts of unlawfully using an access card ( 484g, subd. (a)) (counts 5 & 6). In return, defendant was sentenced to the indicated sentence of 12 years in state prison. Defendant appeals from the judgment. His notice of appeal challenges the sentence or other matters occurring after the plea, the validity of the plea, and the denial of his motion to strike the enhancement.
