allegation that appellant committed the offense for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with a criminal street gang with the specific intent to promote, further, or assist in criminal conduct by gang members ( 186.22, subd. (b)(1)(C)). The jury found not true the allegations that appellant personally used a firearm, that appellant personally and intentionally discharged a firearm, and that appellant personally and intentionally discharged a firearm, which proximately caused great bodily injury and death ( 12022.53, subds. (b)-(d)). The trial court sentenced appellant to 15 years to life in state prison and awarded him 598 days in presentence custody credit. On appeal, appellant contends substantial evidence does not support the murder conviction or the gang finding. court affirm.
