Viewed in accordance with the usual rules on appeal (People v. Ochoa (1993)
6 Cal.4th 1199, 1206), the evidence established that on April 22, 2009, Daniela Castillo was a police assistant for the Long Beach Police Department. After 6:00 p.m., Long Beach Police Officer Oscar Valenzuela and Castillo drove to a store on Atlantic. Castillo was wearing a red shirt and gray knee-high pants. Castillo saw appellant sitting alone in a parking lot. Valenzuela gave Castillo two prerecorded $20 bills and told her to talk to appellant.
Castillo went to appellant and asked if he knew where she could get marijuana. Appellant indicated he did not have any but knew where some could be obtained. Castillo, then appellant, said, â€
