P. v. Lopez
Defendant appeals a judgment after conviction of unlawfully driving or taking a vehicle, receiving stolen property, carjacking with a finding of personal firearm use, and two counts of second degree robbery. Defendant argues that his carjacking conviction violates due process of law because it rests upon unreliable and uncorroborated identification testimony; that there is insufficient evidence that he used a firearm during commission of the carjacking; and that the trial court abused its discretion by denying his pretrial motion to sever the counts because three criminal incidents were involved, the evidence was not cross-admissible, and the evidence of the carjacking was "weak." Judgment Affirmed.
