P. v. Diaz-Huerta CA2/4
Days before trial, defendant and appellant Mari Sor Diaz–Huerta moved for a continuance and sought to substitute in newly retained counsel. The trial court denied the motion. Defendant also contends that she received ineffective assistance of counsel by virtue of her court–appointed counsel’s failure to conduct a proper examination of the coroner. We affirm.
