Jim Pinedo appeals the judgment entered after a jury convicted him of attempted second degree murder (Pen. Code, §§ 187, subd. (a), 664; count 1), assault with a firearm (§ 245, subd. (a)(2); count 2), three counts of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or partner (§ 273.5, subd. (a); counts 3, 8, and 12), threatening a witness (§ 140, subd. (a); count 4), dissuading a witness (§ 136.1, subd. (b)(2); count 5), false imprisonment (§ 236; count 9), simple assault (§ 240; count 11), and battery (§ 243, subd. (e)(1); count 13). The jury further found that in committing the attempted murder appellant intentionally discharged a firearm causing great bodily injury (§ 12022.53, subds. (b)-(d)), and that in committing counts 2 through 5 he personally used a firearm (§ 12022.5, subd. (a)) and personally inflicted great bodily injury (§ 12022.7, subd. (e)).
