In this juvenile dependency appeal, S.S. (Father) challenges the juvenile court’s jurisdictional findings and dispositional order concerning his two-year-old son, D.B. As we explain below, we affirm in part and reverse in part.
D.B. first came to the juvenile court’s attention based on concerns about substance abuse by and domestic violence between Father and B.N. (Mother). About one year after the initial detention hearing, shortly before the court ruled on jurisdiction, Mother passed away.
