Latoya D. v. Sup. Ct.
Latoya D. (mother) filed a petition for extraordinary writ pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 8.452, to challenge the juvenile courts order terminating reunifications services for her children, J.D. and Jay D., and setting a hearing pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 366.26. The court found it would be detrimental to return the children to mother and it also found that she was provided reasonable services but failed to make significant progress in resolving the problems requiring the childrens removal. court conclude substantial evidence supported the lower courts ruling and deny mothers petition for an extraordinary writ.
